Avast (suddenly) detected virus in TeraCopy 2.0 beta 4a
Posted by Guest user (guest), Feb 02, 11:50
This happened to me on my laptop running Avast PE and TeraCopy 2.0 beta 4a. This combination played well together for almost a year, when suddenly Avast decided that TeraCopy has a virus. The only way I could fix it was to uninstall TeraCopy.
I have not yet reinstalled, but will try with the newer version 2.12. If that does not work, I may look for another similar program, since TeraCopy is both faster and more reliable than Windows built-in copy/move function.
Interestingly, I have the same combination (Avast PE and TeraCopy 2.0 beta 4a) installed on another computer with no problems -- so far!
