|Summary||0000331: Hashes Mismatch|
|Description||I have been using TeraCopy for many years. Recently I've started getting "Hashes mismatch" errors when teramoving files. If I choose to teracopy the files there is no error. Moving is preferred as there is less chance of leaving extra files behind.|
This seems to be similar (if not the same) as ID 0000114 - "Hashsum not calculated when moving files"
|Steps To Reproduce||I am using a Samsung 850 EVO SSD hard drive with Windows 10, v1709, build 16299.125 (it was also happening on build 15063.726). |
I choose "Overwrite all older files" I am combining folders that consist mostly of txt, doc, docx, and pdf files. They all give the same error. As per the attached screenprint the original files show that the hash is not calculated.

||I honestly think this has to do with the Meltdown Patch and how windows changed. Something is up. Version 2.3 was rock solid until the patches hit. 2.3 has the same issue now where files checksums are the same but it produces a mismatch error. If hit Verify again it'll match.|
