|Summary||0000101: Audio and video slow down while copy files|
|Description||If play a video while copy files, the audio and video slow down, if pause copy then play usually.|
Video player: Zoom Player
|Steps To Reproduce||Play any video while copy files|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|OS Version||64 bit|
||After some tests it seems happens only when copying files from network to usb|
||This also happens for me. Win 10 Pro 64 bit. Baka-MPlayer 2.0.4-1 is my media player.|
What do you expect to happen? Copying files is resource intensive, and uses up lots of network bandwidth. Possible also CPU/RAM, if you have an under-powered system or are transferring between fast SSD drives on the same system.
One option would be to be able to set a maximum MB/s speed limit inside TeraCopy (another user already asked for that feature).
Another idea is that (I think) Wifi and network traffic can be assigned a priority, so that (e.g.) VOIP calls and media file playback get higher priority than background file transfers. I'm not sure exactly how that works, but maybe it'd be possible for TeraCopy to include an option to specify network traffic priority?
...And similarly an option to specify CPU thread priority?
